SALARY REGULATION FY 05
SECTION 1 - ATTACHMENT B
ISSUED: September 21, 2005

SPECIAL PROVISIONS

  1. Employee Relations Groups A, P, R, and S

  2. Full-time employees will receive a bonus payment of $240.00 if they have worked at least 195 shifts on either the second (afternoon or evening) or third (night or midnight) shifts between November 1, 2003 and October 31, 2004. Full-time employees who are required to work on rotating shifts and who worked at least 170 shifts on either the second or third shift during this period will also receive the $240.00 bonus. Permanent part-time employees who work at least half-time, five days a week, and who worked at least 195 shifts in this period will receive a pro rata share. This payment will be made December 2004 and employees must be in pay status to be eligible.

  3. Employee Relations Groups C, I and O

  4. Effective on or about July 1, 2004 each employee covered by this agreement shall be entitled to a two and nine tenths (2.9%) percent across-the-board (ATB) increase applied to the employee's current base salary. Full-time employees on the active payroll on the effective date of this across-the board, who were earning less than $34,000 in base salary on the day immediately preceding this implementation, shall receive a cash bonus not included in base salary of the differential of the amount of their across-the-board increase and the amount of the across-the-board increase calculated on a base salary of $34,000 ($986.00). This bonus shall be paid on or about July 31, 2004.

Example: An employee earning $25,000.00 on the day immediately preceding the effective date of the across-the-board increase receives the 2.9% ATB or $725.00 increase. The employee's Lump Sum payment is calculated by subtracting the amount of their ATB increase from $986.00. Therefore, this employees' bonus equals ($986.00 - $725.00) $261.00.

  5. Employee Relations Group H

  6. Effective on or about July 1, 2004 each employee covered by this agreement shall be entitled to a two and nine tenths (2.9%) percent across-the-board (ATB) increase applied to the employee's current base salary. Full-time employees on the active payroll on the effective date of this across-the-board who were earning less than $31,000 in base salary on the day immediately preceding this implementation, shall receive a cash bonus not included in base salary of the differential of the amount of their across-the-board increase and the amount of the across-the-board increase calculated on a base salary of $31,000 ($899.00). This bonus shall be paid on or about July 31, 2004.

Example: An employee earning $25,000.00 on the day immediately preceding the effective date of the across-the-board increase receives the 2.9% ATB or $725.00 increase. The employee's Lump Sum payment is calculated by subtracting the amount of their ATB increase from $899.00. Therefore, this employees' bonus equals ($899.00 - $725.00) $174.00.

Full-time employees will receive a bonus payment of $240.00 if they have worked at least 195 shifts on either the second (afternoon or evening) or third (night or midnight) shifts between November 1, 2003 and October 31, 2004. Permanent part-time employees who work at least half-time, five days a week, and who worked at least 195 shifts in this period will receive a pro rata share. This payment will be made December 2004 and employees must be in pay status to be eligible.
