SALARY REGULATION FY 05
SECTION 1 - management
ISSUED: september 22, 2004
 
  1. EMPLOYEES COVERED - This salary regulation applies to all employees in titles assigned to Employee Relations Groups MB, MD, M3, and M; and members of the Senior Executive Service.

  2. EXCEPTIONS - This salary regulation shall not be applicable to Cabinet Members, employees of the Casino Control Commission governed by section 4-C, Members of Board, and employees affected by section 4-F, or other employees whose salary is set by statute. In exceptional cases a recommendation may be submitted for review.

  3. ACROSS-THE-BOARD SALARY ADJUSTMENTS - Increases to base salary will be effective June 26, 2004 and will be 2.9% of base salary as of June 25, 2004.

  4. COMPENSATION SCHEDULES - The salary ranges of compensation schedules MB, MD, M3, and M will be increased by 2.9% effective June 26, 2004.

  5. SALARY LIMITATIONS - There is a limitation upon salaries which may result from application of this salary regulation.
    1. An employee's base salary may not exceed $109,838 or 2.9% of an individual's June 25, 2004 salary, which ever is greater, however, requests for payments in excess of this amount may be submitted for review.
    2. An eligible employee may receive a based salary below the evaluated minimum or above the evaluated maximum of the assigned range of his or her title as authorized by the Commissioner of the Department of Personnel, and the Director of the Division of Budget and Accounting.
  6. DURATION - This salary regulation will be in effect, unless superseded, only through Fiscal Year 2005.
