A. SALARY ADJUSTMENTS

Any salary adjustment not specifically authorized by these regulations must demonstrate extraordinary justification and compelling need for such action. Such request shall be submitted on a DPF-77 and shall include required evaluative comments and recommendation of the department head.

The following actions also require the approval of the Chair/Chief Executive Officer, Civil Service Commission and the Director, Office of Management and Budget:
a. Hiring above the authorized hiring rate for a title
b. Compensation for serving in a higher capacity than an employee’s current title
c. Negative salary adjustment
