A. SALARY ADJUSTMENTS
- Any salary adjustment not specifically authorized by these regulations must demonstrate extraordinary justification and compelling need for such action. Such request shall be submitted on a DPF-77 and shall include required evaluative comments and recommendation of the department head.
- The following actions also require the approval of the Commissioner, Department of Personnel and the Director, Division of Budget and Accounting:
- Hiring above the authorized hiring rate for a title
- Compensation for serving in a higher capacity than an employee’s current title
- Negative salary adjustment
